Steering Committee Roles

The responsibilities of the project steering committee include:

  • ensuring clear scope and Terms of Reference,
  • providing the necessary resources,
  • conflict resolution,
  • managing contingency expenditure,
  • the project achieving it’s objectives,
  • approved expenditure is not exceeded,
  • expected benefits are realised,
  • project targets are met, and
  • promoting acceptance of the project.
