Rod Hutchings has a wealth of experience emanating from his:

Rod has a reputation as a results-focused project manager, one who challenges leadership thinking and creates a delivery focussed environment. His line management background enables him to relate to leaders and managers at their own level, as well as utilise facts and data to drive change throughout the organisation.
Rod's assignments have included strategic planning, project management, outsourcing and organisational change assignments.
Rod provides project management services and coaching in the PRINCE2 method and the PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK). He also provides personal coaching service to both individual leaders and teams. The focus of the coaching is on improving effectiveness and performance within the organisational context. Rod conducts Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) RegPM (Registered Project Manager, professional recognition) assessments within the AIPM’s RegPM framework. In Victoria he is one of only (8) eight people accreditated to assess the competencies of individuals at the program and project management against the Australian National Competency Standards. He also conducts National Recognised Training and Assessment for qualifications in Project Management at the Cert IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.
Rod has the ability to get the buy-in of individual Leaders as well as the project team, so that they initiate change and innovation in their own areas of responsibility. Rod has a passion for delivering projects that facilitate strategic plans unfolding, as well identifying and developing leaders and teams, in fast moving and continuously changing environments.
Rod is a professional member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and Australian Computer Society (ACS). Some of the training he has completed includes:
- Master of Applied Science (Information Management), Charles Sturt University;
- Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Computing), Charles Sturt University;
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing Sciences), University of Technology, Sydney;
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Melbourne College of Advanced Education;
- Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching, Melbourne College of Advanced Education;
- Certificate in Personnel Management, WA TAFE; and
- RAAF Officer Executive Training.
Rod is certified as an AIPM Registered Project Manager (RegPM) at the highest level - Level 6 - CPPD: Certified Practising Project Director. This accreditation to Australian industry standards (adopted from PMI PMBOK as the basis of their standard), further demonstrates best practice, professional skills and knowledge to give Rod's customers and partners confidence that he can deliver the required capability on time and within budget. Rod also is a qualified workplace assessor and AIPM RegPM Assessor.
