You can receive RegPM Certification and National Recognised Qualification (Cert IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Project Management) through your recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/ competency based assessment.
Applicants who have gained appropriate levels of competence through previous studies, work and life experiences may be eligible to have their competence recognised towards the qualification.
Most our qualifications are issued based upon Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). RPL is “the acknowledgement of the skills and knowledge a person has acquired through previous project management training, work or life experience, which may be used to grant status or credit in a subject or module.” www.vqa.vic.gov.au/vqa/accreditation/glossary.htm. The Department of Training and Employment says that “Your prior learning can only be recognised in formal vocational qualifications if your skills and knowledge are current and meet today’s industry standards. You must be able to show your skills and have them verified.”
