5 things not on my resume

The things I don't put on my resume are:

  1. Client is a star.  The successful projects were my clients' success and the poor projects where my failure.
  2. Assumptions. Sometimes I assume a person understands a task but realise too late that they messed up because they lacked experience or did not understand the situation.
  3. Client knows best.  Often in project management consulting, the client comes to you for your professionalism, experience, then tells you how you should execute the project
  4. Organisation - or lack of.   I am untidy at my work station - I like too have papers out everywhere
  5. Filing.  My greatest aversion at work is filing. It's past and I'm looking for the future or that's what I tell myself.

A good client is worth a fortune - if not so good it should be factored in as a risk and some education applied (if possible)
Organisation and filing:
You are not paid because of your ability to file and/or organise your personal workspace. Let someone else do that to free you up for what you're good at.
